Karyn has worked in the agency since 1986, concentrating on selling and servicing personal lines and life insurance. In 2007, she and her business partner purchased the agency from her father, Thomas F. Hinkle. In addition to developing relationships with clients, she also oversees the agency operations and staff.

Karyn grew up in the insurance business. Her father started the agency out of her childhood home, and very often during dinner, he would have to excuse himself to take a claims report from a client. She didn’t realize how much she was learning and never thought she would be working in the insurance industry. Today, she is committed to her job and is glad she found a love for insurance just like her dad.

Karyn truly enjoys working with clients to bring a better understanding of their insurance policies and needs. She also loves being able to spend workdays with the best co-workers and delivering the best service and products to our clients.

Hinkle Insurance currently has three generations of family members working in the agency; Karyn, her mother, her son, and her daughter. She truly feels blessed to work with them all. She learned a lot from her mother and father over the years. Being able to teach her son and daughter all about the world of insurance is such a pleasure.

Overall, Karyn is passionate about giving back to the community, always looking for ways to support various non-profits, and participating in community events. She is currently an active member of the Irish-4-a-Cure Relay for Life Team, a supporter of Girls on the Run, and United Disabilities Services.

She also enjoys live music, art, skiing, golf, and Long Beach Island, NJ. In addition, she enjoys spending time with her husband Brad, two grown children, friends, and family.
